On Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 5:30 pm, City of Seal Beach
leaders will participate in a virtual presentation provided by the Orange County Human
Relations Commission regarding the current trends in the county related to hate crimes
and how to report a hate crime. There will also be an opportunity for viewers to ask
questions.

Seal Beach Mayor Joe Kalmick is inviting the community to meet
with him and the Seal Beach Police Department at a virtual Coffee with a Cop event.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 5:00 pm.

A pedestrian passed away after being struck by a vehicle while
walking in a parking lot.

On Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Seal
Beach Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the
public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially
dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

A vehicle theft suspect is in custody after leading police on a
pursuit through Orange County.
