Hate crimes have become easier to report in Seal Beach.

The City of Seal Beach Marine Safety Department has partnered up
with Stop Drowning Now and the Orange County Drowning Prevention Task Force to
host a Walkthrough Water Safety Challenge on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 9:00am-
11:00am at Eisenhower Park located at 900 Ocean Avenue adjacent to the Seal Beach
Municipal Pier. The community will have an opportunity to visit various stations and
receive education on drowning prevention from the Seal Beach Lifeguards and pool
staff, CPR from the Orange County Fire Authority, public safety tips from the Seal
Beach Police Department and general City information from City Hall staff.
Additionally, attendees will have an opportunity to meet water polo Olympians and their
medals:

Two Seal Beach Police Officers were selected to join the
Community Oriented Policing (“COP”) Team.

The Seal Beach Police Department is requesting the public’s
assistance in locating a critical missing person.

The Seal Beach Police Department partnered with several coastal
Orange County law enforcement agencies to conduct an enforcement operation
specifically targeting loud/modified exhaust and street racing violations.
