HOW TO OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT:

THE PLAN CHECK PROCESS:

The Plan Check process ensures that a project meets code requirements and is safe before construction starts. It does so by processing permits and reviewing code compliance for structural, architectural, grading, and fire safety, as shown on submitted plans. Projects requiring a plan check include the following: new structures (residence, commercial, industrial building), room additions, remodeling, and tenant improvements, among others. A site plan may be required for any equipment placed outside. A plan review fee will be collected at the time of plan review submittal. The fees are subject to change after official review of the plans by the Department.

CONTRACTOR BUSINESS LICENSE

STARTING CONSTRUCTION:
