The National Weather Service has predicted major rain in our
area. The most significant rainfall will occur between Thursday and Friday this week.

The Seal Beach Police Department is reminding fans who are
watching the Super Bowl to get a safe ride home after the game.

A man was arrested for residential burglary two days after
committing a crime in Seal Beach.

On January 25th, The Seal Beach City Council approved an amendment to the Small Business Relief Grant Program providing the opportunity to deliver additional grant funding of $3,500 to qualifying Seal Beach businesses. This round of grant funding will provide immediate relief to local restaurants, personal care businesses and gyms/fitness studios of which many of these businesses were significantly impacted by the last State issued Stay at Home Order. The City has once again partnered with the Orange County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to administer this program, which is entirely funded with $77,000 of one-time funds distributed to the City of Seal Beach by the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Seal Beach City Council Member Mike Varipapa is inviting the
community to meet with him and the Seal Beach Police Department at a virtual Coffee
with a Cop event. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
