City of Seal Beach officials are aware of the hazardous materials incident currently occurring in the Garden Grove area and are actively monitoring the situation in coordination with regional public safety and emergency management partners. At this time, there is no known threat to the Seal Beach community. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official sources as updates become available. Official sources for updates include the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) and the City of Garden Grove Emergency Information.

    Autism Awareness Month




    April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month. To show support
    to the autism community, Seal Beach Police Officers and professional staff will be
    wearing a special Autism Awareness patch on their uniforms during the month of April.
    Patrol cars will also be adorned with a magnetic decal. The patches are available for
    sale to the public for $10 each. Proceeds from the sale of the patches will be donated
    to an organization within the autism community.
