The Seal Beach Community Pool is located on the McGaugh Elementary School campus. The pool was built in 1964 and is 25 yards in length with six lanes open for lap swimming. Lap swim passes can be purchased from the Community Services Department at City Hall or online. A physical pool pass given at City Hall or a barcode from the Seal Beach Recreation app must be scanned to check into the lap swim program. The water temperature is maintained at 80 degrees and an outdoor, warm water shower with limited dressing rooms are available.
