The City of Seal Beach has declared a proclamation of local emergency due to potential public health impacts of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  The emergency declaration supports measures to be taken to protect public health, safety and welfare within the City.

Based upon the President and our Governor’s guidance, all Seal Beach BARS will be closed as of 11:59 pm tonight through Thursday, March 19th at 11:59 pm.

Press Release - CERT Training Postponed

The Cities of Buena Park, Cypress, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and Westminster had scheduled a 20-hour Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training academy at JFTB-Los Alamitos on March 20-28, 2020. Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing this academy to a future date, which is to be determined.
