Parking Permits

There are various types of parking permits issued within the City, the bulk of which are in District 1, better known as Old Town. The information below describes the various types of permits issued, and the requirements to purchase each type of permit.  Permits can be purchased at City Hall or online throughout the year and are valid November 1st thru October 31st.

Parking permits are available online at:

  • Create a resident account
  • Provide vehicle information for resident permit(s)
  • Provide proof of residency either through DMV verification or proof of residency
  • Once approved (Approx. 24 hours) you can add permits to cart
  • Pay online (credit/debit) or at City Hall (cash or check)
  • Pick up permits with valid identification

Parking Permits

  • $20 RESIDENT (Limit to 1 per registered vehicle with proof of registration)
  • $30 GUEST (Maximum 2 Per Household)
  • $117 BEACH LOT (Resident)
  • $180 BEACH LOT (Non-Resident)
  • $50 Merchant
  • $60 Contractor

Parking permits will not be issued without the following:

  3. PROOF OF RESIDENCY (Other than drivers license)
    Acceptable Proof of Residency:
    • Property tax bill or rental/lease agreement
    • Utility bill (cable TV, telephone landline only, gas, water, or electric)
(PO Boxes are not proof of residency)
