  • State law mandates that all agendas be posted at least 72 hours before a meeting.
  • City Council meeting agendas are also posted at the Mary Wilson Library, Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Library, and the Leisure World Library, as well as in the City Clerk's Office, on the Friday before the Council meeting date. Council agendas are also posted adjacent to the Council Chambers door.

  • CAN I SPEAK AT A CLOSED SESSION?
    By State law, closed session is not open to the public. The public has an opportunity to speak on any closed session item before the Council goes into closed session.
  • HOW CAN I SPEAK AT A COUNCIL MEETING? DO I NEED TO CALL BEFORE THE MEETING?
    Members of the public may speak under "Public Comments" or on any item listed on the Agenda.
  • HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AT A CITY COUNCIL MEETING?
    To obtain information on any item discussed at the Council meeting, you may call the City Clerk's office the day after a decision. Council approved minutes are available on the City's website or from the City Clerk's Office.
