The Seal Beach Police Department will host its Volunteer in Police Services (VIPS) Academy commencing on Thursday, June 6^th and concluding on Thursday, June 27^th.  Academy classes will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Thursday in June at the Seal Beach Police Department (911 Seal Beach Bl., Seal Beach). Every session is mandatory.

The Annual Classic Car Show is the showcase event for the City of Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce, with over 500 classic cars on display all along Main Street.

Seal Beach, CA. – On April 27th,2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Seal Beach Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

The Seal Beach Police Department is proud to announce a newly created Community Oriented Policing (COP) Team. The team was created as a direct result of the passing of Measure BB and was specifically designed to proactively address quality of life issues which impact residents, businesses, and visitors of Seal Beach.

On Thursday, May 2, 2019, at approximately 2:50 pm, the Seal Beach Police Department received a call of a robbery which occurred in the Target parking lot located at 12300 Seal Beach Boulevard.
