On Tuesday, December 20, 2020, the Seal Beach Police
Department’s Traffic Bureau, along with law enforcement officers from the Culver City,
Irvine, Rialto, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, and Cypress Police Departments, along with
the California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, conducted a
commercial vehicle enforcement checkpoint from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This joint
operation took place on Seal Beach Boulevard between Saint Andrews Drive and
Golden Rain Road.

The Seal Beach Police Department is suspending street sweeper
parking enforcement until further notice. The suspension is effective today, December
10, 2020. This is being done in an effort to assist those in quarantine amid the
coronavirus pandemic and the State’s stay at home order.

The Seal Beach Police Department is looking for families in need
this holiday season as we prepare for our second annual “Santa Cop” community
outreach event.

The Seal Beach Police Volunteers in Policing (VIP) are
celebrating their 25th year of service to the Seal Beach community.

Two men were arrested by the Seal Beach Police Department
after a resident witnessed the crime on their home surveillance system.
