SEAL BEACH, CA. – Marine Safety Chief Joe Bailey will be making a presentation to the City Council on Monday, Nov. 12th, 2019 to provide information on winter storm preparations.

On Thursday, October 31st, 2019 at approximately 10:00 AM, Seal Beach Police Officers responded to a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Oakmont Road and El Dorado Drive. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

On Saturday, November 23rd, 2019, the First Turkey Trot will take place in the Old Town area of Seal Beach. As a result of this event and the large number of participants expected to run, the following streets will be closed to ensure runner safety:

The annual Seal Beach Holiday Parade will take place on Friday December 6th, 2019 beginning at 7:00 P.M. The Seal Beach Police Department will be diverting traffic on Pacific Coast Highway and closing several streets to vehicular traffic for the parade.
