LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. –  The sound of artillery fire will echo across communities surrounding Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) and Los Alamitos Army Airfield (LAAAF) on Saturday, Dec. 8, commemorating the change of command for the 79^th Theater Sustainment Command of the U.S. Army Reserve.

SEAL BEACH, CA. - The City of Seal Beach has established several locations where complimentary sand and empty sandbags are available for residents.

Seal Beach, CA – On December 11th, 2018 Seal Beach Police Officers arrested Ryan Putney (age 33 of Garden Grove) and Amee Harvasty (age 32 of Garden Grove) on charges of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and evading arrest.

On December 23rd, 2018 at approximately 12:27 PM, Seal Beach Police Officers responded to 12339 Seal Beach Blvd. (Ulta Beauty) regarding a theft that just occurred. Upon arrival officers discovered the suspects entered the store and placed approximately $1000.00 in cologne and perfume in a shopping bag. As the suspects were exiting, the store manager attempted to block their exit, the male suspect shoved the manager out of the way using his shoulder. The suspects fled in a gray 1999 Toyota Corolla.
