Beginning at 6pm on Thursday, Oct. 18 the 2018 Great Pacific Airshow, returning to Huntington Beach for the third year and featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, will kick off the exciting, popular Airshow with a community event at 5th and PCH in Huntington Beach.

On October 3, 2018 the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA).

On Saturday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Seal Beach Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Between Friday, October 5th and Sunday, October 7th there were 12 thefts from vehicles and one stolen vehicle in Seal Beach.

The Great Pacific Airshow, headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, will make its return to Huntington Beach, Oct. 19 – 21.
